The world is breaking
with a sound.
But it's not someone else
breaking it.
Without realizing it,
we have all been breaking it,
little by little.
This journey called "one colour"
begins from that very realization.

This world is not yet finished.
Look around you.
At a world that is supposedly
more "connected" than ever before.
And yet, has there ever been a time
when we felt so profoundly "divided"?
We vie for attention,
compete for status,
and struggle
even for our own place in this world.
Somewhere along the way, we forgot.
That the food on your table
was grown by hands you have never met.
That the clothes you wear today
were stitched by hands you have never touched.
That your "today"—all of it—
exists only because of someone else.
We were never alone. We never have been.
When we forget this, the world loses its colour.
Not all at once. Slowly. Quietly.
Like a tapestry unraveling, thread by thread.
This journey of "one colour"
was born to help us remember
those fraying ties.
On MIRAI's borderless art,
people from all over the world
will spin their "Okagesama"
through a single colour.
This is not simply
the act of coloring.
It is shaping unseen bonds
into one colour,
connecting your existence to the world.
This is "one colour 2026 TSUMUGU",
a journey to weave together
our divided world once again.

Story
Let me be honest.
When I first began
this journey of "one colour",
I never intended for it
to reach the whole world.
Japan. Malaysia.
A few countries at most.
That felt realistic.
It felt “safe.”
I had endless reasons.
Language barriers.
Operational burdens.
The weight of responsibility.
“I should only do what I can handle.”
It sounded rational,
but looking back,
it was merely an excuse.
I was drawing boundaries around the world, fueled by my own fear.
It was a single message from Iran
that shattered those lines.
“Can we participate from Iran, too?”
Those words struck me
with the force of a physical blow.
Even as I spoke of bringing
a world full of love and joy,
I was only looking at a “range of the world”
that was convenient for me.
I was nearly robbing them of the very light
found in the act of “colouring.”
The message went on to say:
“Amidst the stress of Iran today,
the time children spend drawing
is the greatest, most radiant gift.
It heals little hearts,
painting hope once more.
Such is the gift.”
Overwhelmed by shame, I realized.
Without even knowing it,
we live our lives drawing boundaries.
That single message from Iran
knocked on the door of the "connection"
we all crave, deep in our souls.
I was not the only one drawing borders. Perhaps we have all,
without realizing it,
walled ourselves in
and allowed our precious bonds to unravel.
To bind back together
the threads that have come loose.
Spinning together, once more
the warmth we almost lost.
This is why we have chosen
to carry this word forward:
OKAGESAMA
Someone is watching.
Someone is participating.
Someone is responding.
Your “today” is held up
by the hands of someone
you have never met.
This journey of "one colour"
is an endeavour to
visualise the invisible blessings of
our existence through the warmth of
colour—a challenge to spin our
fragmented world together, once more.
This is not the work of a single artist.
Your "one colour" will bring warmth
to someone’s "tomorrow."
It is the first step
toward a gentle connection
that flows on, forever.
Toward a world without boundaries.
Tracing the path of MIRAI’s heart
as this movement began.

OKAGESAMA
In Japan, there is a word of profound beauty.
That word is “Okagesama.”
OKAGESAMA
This word holds a depth
far beyond a daily greeting.
“Thanks to you, I am well.”
“Thanks to you, everything is on track.”
But “Okagesama” is not just a polite phrase.
It carries a wisdom
cherished in Japan for centuries.
It is the conviction—
that none of us exist alone.
Unknowingly, our lives are upheld
by the strength of countless others.
This is why, in Japan,
when something goes well,
we do not say: “I did this myself.”
Instead, we say:
“Okagesama-de”
(By the grace of the unseen.)
It means—
we are here because of someone else.
Within this word lies a value
we have long held above competition.
Connection.
I am because someone else is.
Someone else is because I am.
We live within this
endless tapestry of connection.
The journey of "one colour"
was born from this very thought.
This is not a competition
to see who can colour best.
It is not a contest
to decide a winner.
Rather, this is a place
where people around the world
can bring their own colours.
With just one person's colour,
this artwork remains incomplete.
But as many colours gather,
it slowly becomes the "colour of humanity."
This is a journey
gathering the world's "Okagesama"
to weave together one great
"colour of humanity."
Transforming our "prayers"
into "colours" that light the world—
this is the heart of this project.

What would happen
if people around the world
started colouring all at once?
It would not be
the artwork of just one person.
It becomes a piece created
little by little, by the world.
This journey is
that very first step.
A new story of the world
starting from a single colour.
That is "one colour."
[ What is Happening Now ]
This is still just the beginning.
Our Journey So Far:
(Results of Vol. 1-3 in 2024)
1,973 artworks
gathered from 4 countries.
A total of 4,196 friends
have joined this circle of colour.
And now, for the first time,
we open our doors to the world.
This artwork is not yet complete.
There are still many people
who do not know this circle.
The colour each person chooses
is not just a colour.
It is proof of being here now,
and a will for the future.
As these colours grow,
this artwork draws closer to
the "colour of humanity."
If you would like,
please add your colour too.
And softly pass this journey on
to someone who doesn't know it yet.
What colours the world
is not paint or crayons.
It is the "memory" deep within you
thinking of someone else.
What we are gathering
is not beautiful pictures,
but the warmth of "Okagesama"
that supports this world.

We believe.
That this world is not shaped
by the power of one alone.
The food we eat,
the homes we dwell in,
the things we use—
everything is born
of hands we may never know.
We live within the embrace
of a support that reaches
far beyond ourselves.
OKAGESAMA
We believe.
The world is not shaped by competition alone.
The world is overflowing with "Okagesama"— the spirit of mutual support
that holds us all together.
I am, because you are.
You are, because I am.
It is within this connection
that the world is sustained.
To weave the world anew,
no special talent or power is needed.
All that is required is your "one colour".
Your colour becomes a thread
within the fabric of this world.
As that sentiment reaches another,
the world begins to change.
We believe that to spin one colour
is to connect the whole world.
We take threads coming apart,
and twine them back together.
As colours overlap and bind as one,
they become a bond, strong and supple,
that shall never be broken.
We believe in these invisible bonds.
We entrust our prayers to this single colour.
Together, we colour the world.

OKAGESAMA
This is not a place to measure your skills.
You do not need to create a perfect artwork.
Simply light up your colour
in this circle of colour.
Step 1 — Kindle Your Heart
Remember the “Okagesama” within you.
Layer the warmth of that feeling onto the lines. That is all it takes.
Step 2 — Turn Memory into Colour
What colours the world is not paint,
but your “memory.”
Paint with your own hands.
From your fingertips, a new connection begins.
Step 3 — Share with the World
The colours gathered will become
part of a great "human colour",
spun together into a gallery without borders.

OKAGESAMA
"one colour" is a chain of life
starting from a single colour.
This journey begins
with a very simple act.
That is—
to spin your own single colour.
That is all.
One small thread from you
intertwines with someone else's,
and that connection eventually
becomes a strong force
that moves the world.
"one colour" is its purest form.
[ The First Action ]
What you do is very simple.
First, pick your colour.
With that colour, start spinning your story.
Complete your artwork
and share it with the world.
That's it.
What matters here is not perfection.
You don't need "skill,"
but simply the colour you chose and spun.
Because the world cannot be
spun by one person alone.
The single colour you spin
will reach the heart of someone
somewhere in the world.
That feeling will pass on
to someone else,
and the world will slowly be woven together.

ABOUT MIRAI
MIRAI is a Japanese artist.
In her artwork, there is always
a single, unwavering thought.
That is—"Love."
MIRAI's art is not born
from logical thinking.
In moments of quiet time,
she paints as guided by
welling inspiration.
Motifs symbolizing love
naturally appear on the canvas.
And one more thing.
Within every piece she creates,
she always hides the kanji
"施" (Hodokoshi - to give).
To give love and light
without seeking any return.
That quiet prayer becomes
vivid colours wrapping the world,
touching the souls of viewers.
The beginning was a quiet question
heard from MIRAI's art.
If art can move people's hearts,
it shouldn't end with just
one person's expression.
It should be an open space
where anyone can layer
their own story.
From that single wish,
"one colour" was born
as naturally as breathing.
The line art MIRAI draws
is not yet complete.
It is the world's largest "margin"
for you to write your own story.
Her only role is to offer
a quiet catalyst
for you to realize the
"Okagesama" within yourself.
[ A Journey Woven by Everyone ]
"one colour" is not something
for just one artist.
It is a journey where people
around the world bring
their own colours to create
one single artwork.
The line art MIRAI draws
is merely the starting point.
The true artwork is completed—
by the colours of those who join.
“施”
(Selfless Giving)
—To give without seeking return.
Layering that quiet prayer
onto the colours of the world.
The true protagonist of
this journey is not MIRAI,
but "you" who places the colour.
Who you are thinking of,
and why you chose that colour.
That "Why" belonging only to you
is the true completion of this artwork.

THE OKAGESAMA TAPESTRY
The Colour of Humanity.
A Legacy for the Future.
The artworks gathered here
are not merely submissions.
We connect all the feelings
from around the world,
weaving them into one vivid
"one colour tapestry."
This is not the artwork
of just one person.
It is a treasure of humanity,
co-created and shared
by you and the world.
Even after the celebration ends,
this archive remains as a bond
connecting you and the world.
Each individual colour overlaps
as the very existence of someone
living somewhere in the world,
eventually weaving together
the "colour of humanity."
At the core of this spirit
lies our "Okagesama."
And this artwork will continue
into the future,
and into our daily lives.
This work will then expand into
the future and into our daily lives:
World Touring Exhibitions /
Museum Displays / Educational Projects / International Exchange.
Furthermore, we will not keep
these tens of thousands of colours
locked away in a digital world.
We will print them as giant posters
and "Paste" them upon the walls
of cities worldwide.
Weathered by rain and wind,
blending with the scent of the streets—
our shared prayers will rewrite
the physical landscape of our reality.
"One colour" will become culture,
it will become learning,
and it will become the power
to transform our streets and our world.

The One Colour Flight
The Landscape Ahead
— And the Sky of the Future.
Global Touring Exhibitions.
Museum Displays.
Educational Projects.
And the great dream
we look up to together in the sky —
that dream is The One Colour Flight.
To wrap the "colour of humanity"
around an aircraft,
and release it into the sky.
This is not a promise
that will come true tomorrow.
But with the friends
who weave this dream with us,
we will surely turn this vision
into reality.
Toward a world of colour.
Even a single colour from you
becomes a part of the world.
As those colours gather,
the world is slowly repainted,
more and more vividly.
"one colour" believes
in that warm future.

FINALLY, TO YOU
2026年、思想は一本の糸になる
In 2026, philosophy becomes
a single thread.
分断された世界を、
ふたたび紡ぎ直すために。
To spin our fragmented world
together, once more.
the one colour 2026 TSUMUGU
A story spun from a single colour.
Even now, I remember
that message from Iran.
“To heal a small heart,
and paint hope once again—”
To change the world,
no special talent is required.
All that is needed is a single colour.
The colour you choose
will reach someone’s heart,
somewhere in the world,
and eventually become hope.
And when all the colours of the world gather—
there will be a single, grand story,
one that belongs to no one person,
but to all of humanity.
Not belonging to any one person,
but created together by humanity.
